Our concept is simple. You have an exclusive territory and a purpose built vehicle that is your mobile one stop shop. Your aim is to build up your customer base that you visit on a regular basis to take their repeat orders. To gain customers you call on them and invite them onto your mobile one stop shop where you can show them your product range or demonstrate your products to them. No delivery charge, no minimum order, instant delivery – a genuine one-stop shop.

One of Auto Klene main priorities as a company and a supplier is the safety standards of our customers when handling our products and other products in general. Your customers have a legal responsibility to ensure that their staff handle chemicals safely. Auto Klene will supply you with full information about our products to help you assist your customers in complying with Occupational Health and Safety standards. Bottle labels, wall charts, training courses and Material Safety Data sheets are there for you and your customers.
Furthermore, another Auto Klene priority is to decrease and minimize the use and supply of chemically and environmentally hazardous products to our current and future customers by continually finding excellent alternatives.
Can the franchise territory change?
Once a contract has been signed, your territory is fully protected.
Are the sales targets realistic?
We want all our franchisees to succeed and that means setting achievable sales budgets in your business forecasts. It is therefore in our interest to set achievable figures.
Will the territory be large enough?
We use a proven system to measure and determine the correct territory size. It is important to us that a territory is large enough for you to succeed, for the long-term.
Do I have to purchase everything from you?
Our franchisees must purchase all of their products and equipment from ourselves. We provide you with the best range, quality and value of products and are very responsive to competitive pressures and market trends.
What if I want to sell my business?
The business belongs to you and your efforts are building your asset. If you wish to sell your business then we will act on your behalf to ensure that the sale is as quick and easy as possible. We will undertake the advertising and recruitment of a new franchisee and will ensure that you receive a fair price for your business. The cost of the advertising is shared equally between yourself and ourselves.
I have never run a business before, who will help me understand the business administration?
Auto Klenes team of Managers and business advisors will ensure that you are fully trained in all elements of running your business and complying with the relevant legislation.
Will I receive any support?
We pride ourselves on the high level of support that we provide. In addition, our office team is always pleased to answer your questions and concerns. We can show you our structured training program when you come and see us.
What do I have to pay for training?
We know how important training is. Therefore, once you have paid your initial franchise fee all internal training is provided free of charge. Occasionally you may need to attend an external course, for example handling of chemical products, which we will always organize at the most competitive rate possible.
I’ve never sold before… could I be a success?
Auto Klene know how to train you in sales techniques. You need the confidence to approach customers whom you have never met before, we will teach you the rest.
Who controls the cash in my business?
We train you to manage your cash. After all, it’s your business.
Who owns the vehicle?
Your showroom is a major investment and valuable asset to your company. Once you have repaid any finance, it is your vehicle.
Franchise Fee
Unlike many franchisers we do not charge any royalties. There is however an initial franchise fee of AUD $18,000.

Your Investment
The total working capital needed to fund a franchise varies according to the type of showroom that you buy and according to the level of existing business in the area.
A working capital is needed to fund the stock, showroom, debtors, your salary, goodwill and set up costs.
You will need to have 35% to 50% of the money in cash and the rest we will help you raise from a bank. We will prepare a precise business forecast for you depending on your territory, showroom and salary choices.
Your anticipated returnIt takes 3-4 years to build an established business, with earnings rising steadily as your sales grow. Once established you could earn over AUD $200,000 profit per showroom per annum.
